Dancing Drum's Drum Stands are original, custom designs. These stands are guaranteed to fit the Dancing Drum Signature Series drums. They are made of 2 interlocking pieces of plywood which come apart and can be stacked flat for storage or easy transport.
We originally developed these djembe stands to lift djembes up off the floor so that the bass sound could escape from the bottom of the drum. We found that many of the kids we were working with had a hard time holding their djembes at a tilt and playing at the same time. Our stands provide a simple and efficient solution, supporting the drum several inches off the floor, and providing a level playing surface. Although we developed these stands for kids, we have found that they are great for adults, too. The stands fit loosely enough that the drum can still be tilted while playing. We offer 2 sizes: one stand which fits both the 11" and 13" djembes, and one which fits the 9" djembe.
13"-11" Djembe Stand
This stand fits both the 11” and the 13” Dancing Drum Signature Series Djembes. It raises your drum a couple of inches off the floor for ease of playing. Breaks down easily to fit in the Dancing Drum Djembe Bag pocket.
9" Djembe Stand
The regular stand for the 9” djembe raises the drum a few inches off the floor for ease of playing. This stand is best suited for children seated in youth-sized chairs. Breaks down easily to fit in the Dancing Drum Djembe Bag pocket.
9" Tall Djembe Stand
The tall stand for the 9" Djembe raises the drum to a convenient height for the seated player. It comes apart and stacks for easy storage and transport. |
