NATURAL GOURD SHEKERES
from The Music Garden

These Natural Gourd Shekeres (SHAY-ka-rays) are made from gourds carefully hand-selected in California. The gourds are dried, cleaned, and stained a warm mahogany color. Then an intricate, beaded skirt is woven with waxed string and colorful pony beads. These very special, one of a kind shekeres are hand-crafted by the Music Garden. Each bead pattern is unique. Please select a dominant color of green, blue, or red.

PLASTIC MARACAS
Black and Yellow

These maracas are a Dancing Drum favorite because they're extremely durable and they sound great! A strong, plastic shell is filled with small, metal bearings and attached to a comfortable, wooden handle. This gives the player full control over the fluid "swish" and tight "tak" sounds. Approximately 12" tall, these maracas come in matching pairs. Available in yellow or black.
